Veins of Corruption

The faith of Sebiya once held moderate sway over the Blue Cliffs region, but its time has long passed. A handful of adherents still practiced the rites of the triune goddess, maintaining the cliffside abbey until a few years ago. The path to the now-ruined church is long and in disrepair, and few had call to visit even before the roof collapsed, as if pressed inward by a colossal invisible finger.

It is rumored that a handful of the faithful still inhabit the remnants of the cenobium, although none have been seen since the abbey's fall. If they do, they have abandoned care of the light that shone in its spire, guiding and warning away ships from the rocky shore. Trade in the region declined somewhat in the years since, but a pall over the mist-shrouded ruin discourages visitors who would restore the beacon. 

The Sibayan Cenobium is the first part of a system-neutral megazungeon. (Currently statted for Shadowdark.) This is a preview of the first area, The Fallen Abbey. The entire adventure will comprise six domains, each with six areas, each with six locations, all interwoven into a massive dungeon crawl that will stick to your bones.
