Veins of Corruption

The faith of Sebiya once held sway over the Blue Cliffs, but its time has long passed. A handful of adherents still practiced the rites of the triune goddess, maintaining the cliffside abbey, until disaster fell upon them. The cliffside path to the now-ruined church is rough and neglected, and few had call to climb it even before the abbey's vault collapsed, as if crushed by a colossal invisible finger.

Rumors whisper that the few faithful still inhabit the remnants of the cenobium, though none have been seen since the fall. If true, they have abandoned care of the steeple-light that shone in its spire, guiding ships safely from the rocky shore. Trade in the region declined somewhat in the years since, and a pall over the mist-shrouded ruin discourages those who would restore the beacon... or delve the church's ruin for their own ends.
